We ask you to join us in our fight against woman’s rape as a weapon of war, against children forced labor in the coltan mines. You can help by taking part in our ‘save the children’ wave of change initiative. Show your support by wearing the wrist band. You can also help by submitting the ‘Ocean of Change’ form, telling your government representative to take action against these issues, telling them not to take money from the corporations that are encouraging rape, forced labor and genocide in the CD.

We believe in encouraging mining companies operating in the CD to become world citizens by giving something back to the communities where they operate. We believe that each mining company should fund a day care center or a professional education center in the communities where they are doing business.

We believe that every worker should get an honest pay from a day’s work. Together we can make a difference in the lives of many children by increasing the world awareness to what is going on in the blood coltan fields. We will increase awareness to the pleas of many women who are being raped by local militias. These militias displace entire villages so they can mine without any interference. Rape is being used in the eastern part of the CD as a weapon of mass dissuasion! These terrorist tactics are morally debasing and physically debilitating. Together we stand, resolute in our belief in the dignity of the human spirit we so eagerly hold dearest to our hearts.
